As I write this, we’re just three weeks into the new administration, and the tension in America is undeniable. Protests are erupting in all fifty states, and more people than ever are stepping up, speaking out, and making their voices heard.

The news cycle is relentless — one headline after another, packed with chaos, executive orders, and back-to-back White House press conferences.

It feels like a hostile takeover is unfolding right before our eyes. With the president and his billionaire allies making moves that raise serious legal questions, lawmakers being shut out of their own buildings, and everyday people being placed on leave, the hits just keep coming.

Turning to God in prayer enables us to release our burdens and apprehensions to Him, relying on His wisdom and provision. Through prayer, we can discover resilience, clarity, and a sense of serenity that transcends understanding.

Furthermore, practical action is essential. Encouraging and motivating others to participate in the electoral process is a meaningful stride in fostering positive change within our communities and the nation. Your commitment to arranging webinars and sharing mobilization resources is commendable. By disseminating information, memes, and strategies for engaging others through social media, you empower individuals to take action and ensure their voices are heard in the democratic sphere.

Nonetheless, self-care should not be [continue reading by purchasing a copy of INSPIRE: A Call to Action here]

Prioritizing Self-Care While Staying in the Fight

Self-care and rest aren’t just luxuries — they’re necessary as you navigate your journey as an advocate, friend, movement builder, and voter. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so taking time to refuel is just as important as the work you do.

Here are a few fun ways to recharge:

1️. Start your day with a great cup of coffee, tea, or a mimosa. ☕🍵🥂

2️. Get lost in a good book. Need a recommendation? Check out The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins.
