Stand for Something
Devotion 91, page 253
I URGE YOU TO stand for something. Just as Hannah in the
book of 1 Samuel took a stand for herself, it’s time for us to
rise up and make our voices heard. It can be disheartening
when we face obstacles and roadblocks along the way, but we
must not lose our resolve.
Taking a stand means standing up for what we believe
in, speaking out against injustice, and advocating for positive
change. It means refusing to stay silent and passive in the face
of adversity. We have a responsibility to make a difference, to
be the voice for the voiceless, and to fight for what is right.
Standing for something requires courage, perseverance,
and determination. It may not always be easy, and there will
be challenges along the way, but the impact we can make
is immeasurable. Our actions and words have the power to
inspire others and create a ripple effect of change.
Let us take a stand for equality, for justice, for compassion,
for love. Let us use our voices to uplift others, to challenge the
status quo, and to create a better world. Together, we can
make a difference. Stand up, speak out, and let your actions
align with your convictions. The time to take a stand is now.
