Day 31! Over the past month, my hope has been that each post has sparked inspiration in you, especially as we approach the upcoming elections in The United States. I’ve heard from many of you via email, and I’m grateful for the messages. Several of you even shared that you’ve purchased INSPIRE: A Call to Action. Thank you for your support!

If you’re an American and haven’t voted yet, make sure to do so — either early or on November 5, 2024. For election details, visit www.BallotPedia.org. No matter the outcome, stay inspired. If something doesn’t sit right with you, take action — write to your elected officials, attend town hall meetings, consider running for office, pray. Whatever you choose to do, let’s build bridges, even with those we disagree with, and resist any pull toward violence.

Thank you for joining me and others on this 31-day journey. Now, let’s dive into today’s devotion!

Devotion 73, page 197

GRATITUDE IS ESSENTIAL. IT’S crucial to remain attuned to the sensitivities and challenges that individuals may be wrestling with, especially in the aftermath of events such as a debate, which can stir intense emotions and resurrect painful memories for some.

By reaching out and extending words of encouragement, prayers, and a supportive presence, we have the power to create a positive influence in the lives of those enduring tough times. Your compassion and your readiness to listen and stand by others showcase the might of empathy and human connection.

Many among us may have weathered trauma, abuse, or challenging childhoods, and their journey towards healing is ongoing. Through our care and support, we can offer them a comforting embrace, strength, and the assurance that they are not alone.

Consider taking a moment to gaze at a picturesque window display or embark on a delightful road trip for a well-deserved break. Providing yourself with the space to rest and rejuvenate is vital for sustaining your well-being and resilience. Seize this opportunity to unwind and recharge.

I thank God for your unwavering dedication and commitment to the path that unfolds before you.

A Call to Action

I pray that your endeavors in doing good for others, raising awareness, and mobilizing for constructive change are producing a tangible impact. Keep forging ahead, and may your journey be adorned with blessings and a revitalized vigor.

Remember, self-care is important. Therefore, take good care, and always remember that you are valued for the profound influence you bring to the lives of those around you.

I am thankful for you!
